#58 Best Pizza Dough and Cream Puffs EVER!!

Yesterday I made dinner for our family! I had planned to make “Tropical Quesadillas” but we didn’t have the ingredients. 🙁

So, I decided to make pizza!!! I was AMAZING!!!

I have a funny history with making pizza dough. Every time I would make it, I would forget something or I would put in too much of something, or it would be too tough or too sticky or too runny. But, this time it worked!!

I did my happy dance in the kitchen to the song “Cinematic” by my favorite artist OWL CITY!!

I  listen to Owl City when I cook because it helps me think good thoughts and enjoy cooking. You should try listening to your favorite artist when you cook. I promise you, you will have more fun. (P.S. you might get distracted and sing instead of cook, but that’s ok for a couple of minutes!! Right??? 😉 )

I made three completely different flavors of pizza.

Margarita (for me and a couple of pieces for my mom)

Pepperoni (for Curly Cook and Joy Boy)

Paul’s Supreme (for my dad)

It was tons of work, but totally worth it!!

The pizza dough was super fluffy and super soft. Though we did have to put the pepperoni pizza and margarita pizza back in the oven to cook longer.

Because I am super nice, I am going to give you the recipe for our pizza dough.

The BEST Pizza Dough EVER

2 1/2 cups warm water (warm to your wrist temp)

2 Tablespoons yeast

2 Tablespoons sugar

1 Tablespoon salt

2 Tablespoons oil

6 cups flour (I use 1/3 wheat & 2/3 white)

Start by activating your yeast in 1 cup warm water and 1 T. sugar.  Let sit for 10 minutes.  In a large mixing bowl or kitchen mixer, add the leftover sugar, the salt, and the oil.  Mix together.  Add yeast mixture to the mixing bowl.  Add one cup of flour and mix well, until it is creamy.  Alternate the rest of the water and cups of flour.  Keep mixture creamy until you turn the dough into a nice ball.  The ball should “clean” the sides of your bowl.  Sprinkle your counter, covered in saran wrap (a quick clean up trick) with white flour and set the ball on it and let it rest for 10 minutes.  Then roll out the dough.

Bake the dough at 375 degrees for 18 – 22 minutes or until crust is cooked to your liking.

After we finished that delicious pizza we had a little dessert I made!

They were heavenly!!

The cream puffs were filled with delicious whipped cream that was a bit frozen.

I got the recipe from “Our Best Bites”. Heres the link for these super yummy cream puffs: https://ourbestbites.com/tutorial-cream-puffs/

Love ya’ll!!!
